No one really knows who or what God is until, perhaps, after death. Love, however, is something I can experience in the here and now. And in the end, maybe Love is God, or perhaps God is Love. Either way you look at it, it all comes out the same. And in the end, if I’m wrong and neither have anything to do with each other, or exist only as illusions and have no basis in reality, I’m still okay because I’ve lived a life of “doing” and “feeling” instead of “pondering” the unknowable.
If you choose love isn’t that the same as choosing God?
God all the way … because God is Love
In finding one, would you not already have found the other?
faulty question. Both are connected.
Yes, the proverbial “God is love.” I’d probably choose God, because love comes forth from God in my narrow, limited point of view.
This is easy. Shrek is right, go to the source of love.
ronlawhouston, good question. Is it? Only you will know.
shrek_azn, mbbrad4d, dumbfound_me, if God is love, then what’s the remaining of what is not love in this world? In other word, what is the rest of existence?
Phuong_Phan, another good question. I don’t know. Only you will know.
If we choose love, can we find God through love? If we choose God, can we find love through God? God is love or love is God?
why Buddha is not on the list? lolz
Love! Love keeps us going…well I suppose faith does too. But I’d like to think that love makes us happy. So love = )
god is love
God is love and Love is God, without either we are lost.
I’ve seen people who isn’t conscious of presence of God, but I haven’t seen anyone who isn’t conscious of love. I’m taking a naive point of view and try not to connect God and Love b/c if you think of it this way, God embodies the perfect form of Love. Then the choice Love or God doesn’t make any sense. So Love it is. Why? God still loves me if I don’t know who he is.
chi. TT, it’s flooding over there, are you guys ok? =)
The two are intertwined. When I seek God, I find love. Unspeakable love. The kind that allows me to show mercy and compassion toward those who hate me….
If you are speaking of human love, well, I’ve found that without God in both of your hearts, that kind of love is doomed from the start. In our natural states apart from God we’re just too selfish.
There’s no choice here. They are the same.
I’d choose love over God. In my experience, God really hasn’t been there. Relgion has become to patriarichal but there will always be people I love and who will love me.
love, love is God. as for what is not love, those are the things that are fake, like fear. fear is nothing, jsut something we put in are head that isnt real.

FadeIntoADream, are both love and God really connected?
