  • The Pursuit of Happiness

How can we make peace when some find their faith requires that they dominate those who believe differently from them? How can we find harmony in a world where discrepancies of poverty and wealth are so great and cultural norms exist in opposition to each other?  How can we be caring and loving toward others in an environment seems to encroach on personal freedom?  How are we to care for others and allow ourselves to be open and vulnerable as Christ taught us when it invites the possibility of personal risk, manipulation, and abuse?

What topic is most important to you right now?

  • Xangaship is the most important ship right now … lolz

  • Man, today must be a day when everyone seems to ponder and post such tough questions to answer. I am dumbfounded…

  • I’m at this one: “care for others and allow ourselves to be open and vulnerable as Christ taught us when it invites the possibility of personal risk, manipulation, and abuse”

I’m also wondering how many (including me) want to point out specks in others’ eyes when we have planks in our own. I guess that goes with the first question.

    Be well, my dear.

  • a peace of mind

  • the amount of courage i’ll need to muster to calm the turmoil between me & my parents since i know they can’t & may never resolve this, if i wait for them.

pursuit of happiness is so different between everybody it’s fascinating hearing them …

  • How can we bring peace to the world when there are so many conflicts in beliefs?

  • How can we truly love our enemies?

  • the topic most important to me right now??? love & marriage still ^_^ yea yea heheh i think i’m at the age where I wonder about that heehehe….

  • you talk very important thing as always..bless you…

  • I think a life of love and compassion requires great courage. We have to be willing to sometimes take the hits. Sometimes our lack of angry response will place one small crack in the hardened heart and mind of the one who hurt us. Sometimes not.  Sometimes our lack of angry response will turn on a small dim bulb of enlightenment in the darkened mind of an observer, who might for one brief moment say to themself, “Hmmm. I wonder?”

If we don’t show in the way we live a spirit of love, compassion ,and mercy, it will be very difficult for others to ever find it.

  • It’s hard for me to respect the radicals of any faith who try to dominate other faiths.  It doesn’t make sense to me.  God is Love.

  • I am learning to rest in Him and let Christ’s love embraces me from every direction of my life.

  • How to set my priorities right so I can have time to accomplish the goals.  It’s basically very personal right now.  I need to take care of my own affairs to a certain degree before I worry about the world around me.  I know, it’s a selfish kind of view.

  • How we can be in the world and not of it.  ~Ann~

  • I don’t think that we can until all cultures are one, and there is no longer a language barrior, and the financial situation of the world is more equal. Judi

  • Our indiferance will always seperate us. The only pease the world has ever known was nailed to a cross by his own! Have a good weekend girl!
